I never said they were important to me.  I was letting you know that the observation is not merely an anecdotal one.

If you say so. Your very first post said that you agreed with the masses due to sales data.

That's what you make of it, feel free to show me otherwise where this exactly has been said? Sales are how you see if others share your opinion, nothing more. For example i don't like Rihanna, but i do know that she enjoys great sales. Which is how i know that my opinion of her is not a popular one.

To each their own. From what I got out of your argument, you put the opinions of others instead of deciding for yourself when it comes to the Wii U. If that's not so, my bad, but that was my interpretation.

The Wii U is the best value in price-to-game ratio, and that's a fact. Whether or not it is a must-have console is an opinion.

Seems like a silly request, you're just going to disagree with any game put forth.  I mean I love towerfall, but you're just going to say it's not as good because that's your opinion.  Now if you admitted that your own evaluation of these games were an opinion you wouldn't have a problem, but instead you want to talk about these things in absolutes which is ridiculous.  

Towerfall is a great game, but is it better than the games I've listed? That's my argument. it is undeniable that the Wii U has a much better library, and one (admittadly great) indie isn't going to change that.

I dont need to justify my gaming selection with those lame adjectives.

 

Edit: Forgot to mention... I own a f****g wii u and im planning to purchase Mario kart 8 next week. My problem is with that "WE have the best games attitude". Is just silly

If I understand, he is referring to all games available right now. Not just one or two. And Wii U have a better library now. Period


if you want to say that Wii U has the most games with a metascore over 80 or 90 or any other number you can do that and that would be a fact.  You cannot turn an opinion into a fact no matter how strongly you believe in it.

Then use better ones. If you think anything on the PS4 is better than any of those games, please tell me. That's all I'm asking. There may be a game or two that you like better, but overall the Wii U has the better library. If you feel otherwise, tell me.

I own a PS4/Xbox One/Wii U. PS4 is for multiplats and Sony exclusives. XOne for Halo/Sunset overdrive/Gears. But right now Wii U has the best game catalog of them all (Nintendo did have a one year headstart afterall). That being said...

Mario Kart 8 is a MUST OWN GAME. Wii U is a must-own console. Here is a peek at my collection to prove it.

The Wii U has the most critically acclaimed games by both traditional websites and users, ergo a stronger library. As of now, most people (not all, I know, but certainly most) would agree that the Wii U currently has the best library. That could and probably will change as the years go on, but at this moment in time the consensus is that it has a stronger library.

For me, it'd be the PS4, but that's colored by my preferences and what I'm mostly playing.  If I were to hazzard a guess as to who has the best library for most people, I'd guess the WiiU because of metacritic scores.  What I won't do is go around presenting either of those opinions as indisputable facts, because that's idiotic.
