And it feels so nice, after all your critics towards us, all of you saying Argentina wouldn't make it to the finals and that sh*t, there you have, Germany should have lost, Higuain scored a goal and it was discounted... Then that penalty and the referi, again, didn't count it. They couldn't penetrate our defenses. We had an amazing team, neither Belgium, nor Holland could win, and if we went to the 3rd place match, we would have given Brazil another 7-0. Brazil sucked, so did Spain, Italy and England. The true teams were all americans! |
For your interest Brazil = America.
The rest does not really deserve much of a reply because you clearly watched another game than anyone else. When you talk about unfair things please dont forget the RED cards your team deserved but the shitty referee hates you so much he just kept them.

Obviously in the eyes of the supporters, their team always deserve to be on the final. But Argentina had a pretty mediocre World Cup. They almost drawn against Iran.
Anyway, Germany deserves to win a WC since 2010.

Congrats to Germany. |
Yeah, I was confused because Lavezzi was playing really well and Palacio has been a piece of crap. Couldn't get a tap in against Netherlands...conveniently headered it to Cillessen. Couldn't put the ball over Neuer. Puts it wide.
Apart from Messi and Di Maria, Argentina really lacked the third man with proper finishing capabilities. I mean Higuain's job description is striker and he botches the gifted one-on-one with Neuer which should ATLEAST been on target
Argentina had more of the clear cut chances. It was a thriller of a match though.
Brazil ends up disappointing once again in their homeland. Historical defeats and the mostly feared 50's ghost was just too much for them.
They should have faced Netherlands at 8ths, but bought out refs avoided that. Brazil was just too lucky to get where they got to. Reality just hit them hard when a true opponent appeared. Unforgettable terrible performance.

Germany wins in extra time and are the champions of the world. 7 minutes longer without a goal and it would have been a penalty shoot out. Argentina played a lot better than I expected. Double victory for Germany: hours earlier German cyclist Tony Martin wins 9th stage of Tour De France. Hours later Germany's national football team wins World Cup with a stunning extra time goal.
Looking back on the game a few hours later.
I feel really bad for Argentina and Messi.
They were their own worst enemy today and could have easily won.
Higuian missed the one on one horribly, if only he would of delayed his run he would of got the other goal that was offside. Messi had that chance he puts away 9 times out of 10. Palacio messing up the chip and so on.
Aguero had a really poor tournament aswell for someone of his quality. Germany in all honesty deserve it more with all of the heartbreak they have had on the international stage in recent history falling up short.
Predicted the score right with a 1-0 victory for Germany.

Absolutely, Messi wasn't even a good candidate to it, I don't know how FIFA managed to give it to him. |
Yeah, i can agree with that, he did a gret job.

There is no problem with Messi winning the golden ball imo.
All of the pressure on him and takes his team to the final.
Aguero and co didn't show up like everyone hoped and they still went far.
Their early games in the tournament mainly the first 4, everyone bunkered and his magic came through for them and brought him 4 motm rewards.. Argentina could have easily drew Bosina, Iran, Nigeria without him and who knows what would of happened vs Switzerland.
I don't understand the hate on Messi it's almost unbearable at times.
Guy is the greatest player of this generation with or without a world cup.
But the result yesterday holds him back on the likes of Pele and Maradona.
Zidane won the Golden Ball in 2006 scoring 3 goals (2 were pens) and even got sent off in the final.
No complaints there from anyone.
The Messi hate is way to strong.
If anyone else deserved it, it would be James Rodriguez for Colombia.
No falcao and still made that great run in the tournament and scored 6 goals.
