Wrong. According to what is taught in the USA, Central America is its own continent.

It is taught as a geographic region, which is very different than a continent. *yawn*

Some countries (mostly in Latin America) learn that America is a single continent, with 3 sub-continents: North, Central and South America. And other countries do teach North, Central and South as 3 different continents.

There's really no clear worldwide definition of continent, some countries teach kids of a single continent of Asia and Europe, called Eurasia, or even Afro-Eurasia (which includes Africa).

Now on topic:

Italy 2 - 2 Uruguay
Costa Rica 1 - 0 England
Colombia 2 - 0 Japan
Greece 0 - 2 Ivory Coast

Maybe I am misremembering what exactly it was. It could also be that everything below the USA counts as South America.

In any case, your educational system isn't very good. It gave us spurgeonryan. QED.

Continents are weird as shit as explained here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3uBcq1x7P34

I only saw a bit of the replay, it looked off side.

Looked pretty much offside to me too even though our commentator said it was clearly not.

Our commentator said it clearly was.

FIFA did a mistake on the replay, by measuring the offside drawning the line in the last player from Cammeron. Fred was behind the line of the ball when it was passed, so it's not a offside postion. The way they pictured the line WAS WRONG. The goal was absolutely LEGAL and it was a difficult one for the referees, who did a great work.

14 points for me today!

They teach kids that everything that speaks Spanish must be from Mexico, no other countries in the world speak Spanish.

Both of these statements are factually accurate.
