Mexico, Costa Rica and Panama. Honduras is going against Australia, I think. |
I see, thanks!
Another newcomer, this will Panama's first WC ever as well. Last knockout they almost reached the 4th spot, as Costa Rica was defeating Mexico 2-1, but the United States made the comeback in the last 3 minutes. It was heartbreaking, to say the least.
My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.
Well I guess I`ll be cheering for Iran and Japan next year.

No right-wing Americans hate soccer for being a foreign sport. |
Americans would have to care first in order to hate it.

The Netherlands and the USA boycotted the friendly way.
| HomokHarcos said: I can`t be mad at Mexico or Costa Rica for this. The USA had in their own hands. |
True, but last time around the US bailed out Mexico in exactly the same situation. All they had to do was lose to Panama to send Mexico home but instead they scored twice in stoppage time for the win. That was clearly a mistake as Mexico didn't bother to return the favor.

You clearly haven't seen the US soccer team over the past several years. I envy you.
The reeking is emanating from the whole federation. The results properly reflect the program's status.

We couldn`t have expected Mexico to bail out the USA. Some of Mexico`s fans are praising Ochoa for scoring the own goal. But Trinidad and Tobago have been awful, there should have been no reason to lose to them.

They didn't care, neither did Mexico in this occasion.
