I'm happy to see Serbia win their group. When the draw happened I was hoping for Serbia.

This was Austria's group!

Remember when Austria were considered the favourites when the draw took place?

Serbia, blah, würg.

Too bad Ukraine didn‘t make it though. Ukraine and Russia in the same group would have been fun.

No. Well, maybe favorites for falling flat.

When the draw took place Austria were tearing up their Euro qualifying group, so at the time Austria were considered the favourites. However, after the UEFA Euro tournament happened Wales became the favourites.

Alaba is out if form, and he‘s their key player.

I was in Vienna when we smashed Austria. That was a crushing defeat that really fucked up their chances.

This is so far by far the best game we've played since the 2014 WC. If only Wijnaldum and Tete didn't fuck up their chances I might actually believe.

Dude, seriously. Who comes up with these stupid European groups? I mean...

Group A's top 3: France, Sweden and Netherlands.
Group D's top 3: Serbia, Ireland and Wales.

Ugh. Of course, I know this was probably a point of debate like what, 2, 3 years ago? Still, it's just ridiculous. Any of those group A teams would likely qualify in 1st place with ease on group D.

You can thank the completely fucked up FIFA rankings for that.

Portugal is going to make it!

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

Looks like Robben's retiring from the national team. Hugging everyone and is currently on the pitch with his kids.
