Ah I see, yeah I remember reading the other day he said we will know "very soon". He's just trolling at this point, probably waiting for that win against big team or that fa cup trophy to announce his new 10 year contract :P

New 10 year contract? :O That really would be the ultimate troll move!

Or would him announcing that he's leaving for Tottenham be even trollier?

At least Spurs have something going on with Pochetino and you can see progress/a future, if anything, in that scenario, Tottenham fans would be the ones being trolled... lol

Would Arsenal manager really be a good job?

Just saw an article on Sky Sports saying "It's a fantastic job to take". But is it really? The way I see it it's a club that's someway behind their rivals, needs a fair bit of rebuilding and also won't have as much money available to spend as its rivals either. Add to that the fact that not only is Wenger's successor going to be expected to pull off great things (as Ferguson's successor was) but with all the calls for Wenger to leave there's going to be a massive amount of pressure to make an instant impact and to win trophies straight away to justify replacing Wenger.

That really sounds like a poisoned chalice rather than a "fantastic job" to me. Add in to that that the managers linked with the job are already at big European clubs such as Dortmund and Juventus but also that those managers have a much greater chance of winning silverware in the near future by staying where they are than moving to Arsenal.

So unless they're offering insane wages, why would a manager that's already at a top European club want to go there?

I think it would be a good job for a coach that has yet to take a big club, kinda like Pellegrini after Villarreal-before Madrid. But if I were a guy like Ancelotti, Mou or Guardiola I wouldn't take the job, too much trouble, too much rebuilding and you would have to have the board on your side 100% to give a load of money to be able to compete with big clubs for signings(I don't think Arsenal seems atractive to top WC players)

I don't think there would be THAT much pressure, I think people want a change in direction more than an instant trophy winning team.

The arsenal job for whoever is after Wenger is:

Spend 2/3 years completely rebuilding this squad to compete and then make things easier for the next manager after you.

Yah but Spain is good for one thing only, Tourism. The country is now so poor the people are literally feeding off cat food bought from polish convenience stores.

So much wrong with this post. For one thing Spain is also good at football. So that's at least two things rather than only one

But also you should really have some actual proof that Spanish people are "literally" eating cat food from Polish stores. You didn't even prove that the store was Polish, or in Spain for that matter. All your picture shows is that some store somewhere in the world has a Polish food section and sells cat food. A lot of stores in England have Polish sections and sell cat food, but I can assure you English people aren't forced to eat cat food...

is that a reliable source? If true, I guess the board at Arsenal doesn't care about winning anything and are happy enough with the team getting top 3-4 and playing champions league

I hope Wenger signs, I need the entertainment.

Whoa what a goal by Podolski! Now that's a way to end your international career 😊

I'm surprised it's only 1 nil, friendly or not. England team compared to Germany's is just sad.

But I'm pleased Ward-Prowse got his first full team cap. He just needs to improve his long shots and he could be as good as any of the greats.

Hmm, pie.

Ah the Wenger debate again.. I still expect him to leave but I don't mind if he stays for a year to rebuild. I think I'd prefer to see something else now though. Will be rude awakening for fans who support other teams when they can't hide behind that Arsenal are the biggest joke nonsense 😉

Who to replace Wenger? Hmm..maybe it's not the time for a top manager right away, if any of those are even available. In any case, suggesting it's not a great job managing Arsenal is simply delusional 😂 I'd say out of all big clubs there's least pressure for instant success. Maybe not as much money to burn but should be enough.
