Most games on any platform are not shooters. Also, don't ignore digital downloads for the sake of your weak argument.

Off course there are games from other genres but the dominant genre is shooting.

Ps4 for example doesn't have even one fighting game at the moment.

Only one exclusive platform game - Knack

Shooetrs? i don't remember all of them but close to about 10 games.

And that's a console that's only been for about 6 months on the market.

As is said before

Consoles are loaded with shooting games.

Shooters are popular.
Games today are expensive to make.
Making games in a popular genre = Less risk.
Less risk = Bigger chance of profit.
Bigger chance of profit = The goal gaming companies want.

Yes, shooters are one of the most popular genres. But most games released aren't shooters.

PS4 does have some fighting games with Guilty Gears Xrd scheduled for this year. PS360 also have several fighting games coming.

Platformers don't sell great anymore unless they're Mario, its not the 90s and N64 is dead.

You didn't say consoles are loaded with shooting games, you exagerated how many shooting games they have. In reality, most games released aren't shooters.

This gen is gonna be more about Open Worlds...the industry is trying to disgust people from every genre so that they play little games on iOS/Android.

I would say there's quit a big difference.

There actually are some fighting games on the PS4 and there are a few racers coming. There are also more games coming in various other genres.
