Forums - Gaming - PS4 + PS Vita Wi-Fi Mega Pack Bundle now available at Amazon - packshot, details

Vita is saved!!!!

But seriously I thought Sony should have done this awhile ago, bundle the PS4 with the vita and try to help save the handheld. If its priced reasonably I see no reason why it wouldn't do well especially sense your getting 10 games with it!

It's too late for anything like this for Sony. Amazon can do what it wants, but for Sony this train is already gone. It would have only made sense, had they done it when the PS4 craze was at its highest, the demand was sky-high and there was no way for them to catch up with supply. They would all go, every single bundle and that would mean from 100k to 300k more Vitas in the wild. At this point - why even bother?

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

Though I do agree with you, I remember GAME had a few bundles around Christmas (one with Knack, one with Killzone, one with vita) and the ones selling the worst were ps4's bundled with vita's. There were points where everything was sold out apart from the psvita bundles. It goes without saying that it would have hekped. Just not as much as we would have hoped.

I think that out of the first 5 mil which sold like crazy, they could easily have slipper 100k or 200k bundles with Vita. The ebay price of PS4 was around $600 at some point, so easily more than Sony would charge for this bundle.

I think at this point even 200k more Vitas in America would make a significant difference, at least percentagewise ;)

I definitely agree with that number. And yes, it would have made a significant difference, but alas...

I just don't get why stores didn't do it on their own. When ps4's are sold for $600 on ebay why not do some bundles with anything like games, accessories, etc.

Don't know, I'm not a store :) Still, I think it's Sony that should have made this move. It's not like there was any risk. PS4 was a baller and would pull Vita up by the ears.

579?!?! Is that some kind of sick PS3 joke? come on Sony. Bundle it with VitaTV for a cool 99 extra.

Nice. This will help the Vita surely, remains to be seen by how much though. The price and timing are both good, so we'll see.
