LittleBigPlanet Vita developer Tarsier Studios has announcedHunger, a surreal third-person action-adventure game for PS4 with stealth and exploration elements.

The project was revealed on the studio's site, where it was confirmed the game has been funded thanks to the Nordic Game Program, which has previously backed a number of successful titles, including Limbo.

"A nine-year old girl named Six is kidnapped from her home and taken to work in The Maw – a surreal underwater resort catering to the whims of the powerful elite," a synopsis explains. "When an unexpected twist of fate offers her a chance at freedom, Six takes a journey through the bizarre and unpredictable world of The Maw, and catches a glimpse at the corrupt heart of modern happiness."

The game is currently planned for PS4 only, but given the studio's previous experience with Vita, who knows what the future will bring.

The premise sounds awesome. Kinda reminds of rapture from Bioshock.

So its a small downloadable title?

Given that LBPV was the best Little Big Planet game outdoing even Media Molecule's best, it'll be interesting to see how this turns out. Means yet another previous Vita developer isn't working on Vita though.

Looking forward to this, LBP Vita was great, best in the series imo.

So i'm interested to see what they have come up with.
