@Avinash,
I don't think this or the NYT issue is going to be a concern in a months time. The fact that he took $0 public funds pretty much means he isn't locked into the system based on the article you posted and the NYT thing is panning out as more of a boon to his campaign than a harm.
I'm not all that fond of McCain but I seriously think you are reaching on these issues. The Renzi issue is something that is a lot more likely to be a problem for him...but I think the recent poo flinging in his direction is going to result in a lot of folks just ignoring it....if there is something to the Renzi issue you can bet that it will not die down though.

Well only if the FEC rules that he isn't locked in, right now they can't rule either way because they don't have the memebers to make a quorum, he could thumb his nose at them, but if they later rule against him he could face stiff fines, plus it raises the specter of him being a hypocrite.
Predictions:Sales of Wii Fit will surpass the combined sales of the Grand Theft Auto franchiseLifetime sales of Wii will surpass the combined sales of the entire Playstation family of consoles by 12/31/2015 Wii hardware sales will surpass the total hardware sales of the PS2 by 12/31/2010 Wii will have 50% marketshare or more by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!! I think everyone has already figured out that all politics on the national level is crap. All the politicians are liars and hypocrites when it's convenient or necessary. To think otherwise is more than just mere naivette.

How? Even if he wants to change the system. He'd be an idiot to not use the system as it's set up now.
You can't change anything if you don't win... and his arguement was you can't win unless you use the financing that is in place currently.
All this shows is that he's not an idiot.

Republican Senator who is liked by both republicans and democrats as he is one of the few polticiians who will compromise and worth with the other party.
Thought the Iraq war was a bad war but thinks we should stay there now since we basically broke it. For things like cutting goverment spending, (of course that's what every republican says and it never happens.) for amnesty for illegal aliens.
Before that he was a soldier who was captured and tortured in a prisoner of war camp for like... 4 years.
