What are the chances we will see some form of kickstarter available directly on PSN?

Seems like a good fit with Sony's indi frendly environment they have been working to create. Imagine users being able to browse potential projects and then directly support their development (PS3, PS4, and Vita games) by pledging $ through their PSN accounts. Then follow the progress of these games and interact with the devs as they are created, and eventually directly download them.

Any thoughts?

Probably not enough people interested to support it.. You would limit the kickstarter greatly.. Kickstarter is aimed at a small market of nerds.. If you add the restricition of only psn members you make the market of nerds even smaller... Maybe if Sony themself said they will double the amount it gets..

Would only work if sony made their own kickstarter like thing in app form for the PS4. Actually wouldn't work anyway you spin it. The PS4 has a web browser. you can browse to the kickstarter site.

I agree 100% I think there could be a wide variety of deals made with Sony for timed exclusivity, pc ports being ok, cofunding, publishing opportunities, etc

To the issue of Sony taking $, I do not think they would need to take a cut at all. Just having something like this would furhter demonstrate their commitment to indis and helps further establish the ps platform as the best place for indis. And obviously they would financially benefit on the back end with increased software sales/support for their machines.
