The Wii U is a great idea without any ideas. I mean, when they showed the Wii U GamePad I just knew that it was going to be awesome. They just have to prove that as goes with the territory. Nintendo, a company that doesn't require any kind of introduction, needs to prove itself on and idea that seems so obscure. Hopefully, they can pull this E3 off and Miyamoto creates another one of Nintendo's go to franchises. I mean, this dude has had a hand in Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, Kirby, Mother, Donkey Kong, Pikmin, Star Fox, F-Zero, Mii, so it would be safe to say that without him, there'd be no Nintendo as we know them today. Let's at least hear what he has to say on June 10-12th.

Good OP Rol. I definitely see where I fit in those two groups... and I fully agree. I love what Nintendo is doing and I hope they continue the trend, learn well from this experience, and create the next console that will thrust us forward with even greater Nintendo games.

thats funny casue last i checked ive owned at least one iteration of every Ninty portable and have a GC and WIi...dont use them much but try harder

since im here, im indifferent. It is what it is at this point. I like how Rol brings up evil 3rd paries no matter what, but ive been a multiplat owner for a LONG time so that is not an issue. As long as the games that WIi U get are good, then im fine. Waiting to see how Zelda turns out. Or if X is a big improvement over Xenoblade i might jump in then.

I honestly cannot think of a reveal more anticipated than the Legend Of Zelda U reveal? Every single fanboy of every single console will be waiting as the sony and xbox fans will wait and see if there is even one tiny thing wrong to post on here trashing it however they can, while Wii U fans are waiting to sing it's praise to the heavens. There is also that small amount of Nintendo fans that will not like the direction the series is going and fans of the other systems that will be truly impressed but those will be few and FAR inbetween but the impact of that single game is going to be massive.

Honestly is there any game at all that comes remotely close to getting all 3 system's fans hyped?

Maybe. I personally haven't seen nearly the amount of speculative threads on here , or rumors while searching for E3 2014 regaurding Halo, but there could be fans of all 3 consoles eager for it's reveal. I'm not personally, but whatever.

Nintendo has done a poor job w the Wii U on multiple levels. That much is obvious.

The 3 major problems I have are:

the overall lack of effort they put into the Wi U since aprox 60 days after launch,

the fact they misled the marketplace and those of us who bought a Wii U at or close to launch via not disclosing major game delays till after the holiday sales season and by the sham of trumpeting 3rd party support-

making the same mistakes they keep promising not to make --again and again

Those are just some of the problems - there are many more and I hate to see them do such a poor job-

It's kinda patchy with Wii U. Games are slowly coming for it but should of been there already. It's disappointing that its lost the decent 3rd party support from launch already though

this place isnt really a good indicator as there arent even alot of MS fans here, hell IMHO any video game forum is a poor indicator. Just look at the sales for Halo games.
