Game is mediocre which was expected from that development studio. Skip it and save your money.

Looks at developer...  MachineGames???  Never heard of.  Looks at publisher....  Bethesda.  I get why there is a 7.3gb day one patch.

I just wanted to link this article because I thought it was funny as shit...

http://www.geek.com/games/bethesda-says-wolfenstein-needs-a-core-i7-to-run-like-a-next-gen-game-1592896/

Intel Core i7 or equivalent AMD
4GB RAM
50 GB free HDD space
GeForce 460 or ATI Radeon HD 6850
64-bit Windows 7/Windows 8

About the dumbest recommended specs I have ever seen.

I actually liked the prospect history wise so far. Dunno.

"Hardware design isn’t about making the most powerful thing you can.
Today most hardware design is left to other companies, but when you make hardware without taking into account the needs of the eventual software developers, you end up with bloated hardware full of pointless excess. From the outset one must consider design from both a hardware and software perspective."

It could be any i7's whether 1st or 4th generation and those graphics cards are hardly shitty as they still pack alot of punch even for today . An HD 6850 is pretty close to the performance of an xbox one from what you get.

Most video games depend more on graphics card than cpu.  Why would you need an i7 but not a high demanding graphics card?  I would find it more believable if the recommended specs were an i3 or i5 with a r7 or r9.

I've been saying this game will be awful for months.

I doubt it'll be awful... but I have low expectations for something great.

I'm thinking somewhere in the 70s on metacritic.

Directx can cause bottlenecks which may inflate CPU requirements but honestly I doubt that this game will require the latest i7 processors so you probably don't need anything more than a 1st gen i7.

The beauty of PC gaming is that you don't need the latest hardware to run your games as long as your hardware supports the features required for the games.

Oh man, I really wanted this to be good. Single player only FPS rarely gets made these days anymore, especially not with AAA budget. I'll wait for review from sources I trust.
