Forums - Sales Discussion - Xbox one will catch up soon with PS4 and then outsell it in the USA

IMO the 360(great system) was an anomaly meaning they got lucky now that can be said for the wii with the casuals but the reason 360 was so successful was because Sony messed at the beginning.
I'm not saying that's bad it's a anomaly(very great console) but I think that's the reason it was so successful
Now the ps4 is pretty much become the playstation 2 again with all the support and sales
I feel like ps4 already has Europe and ww and it will take US in 2015

No one's predictions have been wronger than they've been this generation. Were PS3 fans like this at the beginning of last gen? In fact, if I remember correctly: Yes. Yes they were! Lol

On the particular day when I made this particular prediction at that time it was indeed 10 % , trust me.

First off it was never 10%. It was like 13% ALWAYS. for some reason you took ps4 total and divided the gap by it when you should have used XB1 total. Anyone with a master's should know that. Secondly, the gap was never that small and everyone tried telling you that but you tried to either argue that vgc was better or ignored them. Swallow your pride dude. Best thing you can do at this point

hilarious all around. the OP got served crow numerous times. you know its crazy when even the Xbox fans arent coming in to even try to back him up

I know how to quote just fine thanks. The problem is you missed the mod warning about long quote trees..which you proceeded to post afterwards..which is why I said oh noe..because I feared you would get a ban hammer..which I hope you don't. So forgive me if I avoid quote trees after being directed to do so by starcraft..

Ok no problem. Never saw someone banned by quote tree. But mods ask to keep it up to 3 quotes.

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

You are correct, 3 quotes is what we expect to be the maximum.

If we warn people and they ignore us we will ban them.

That said, a common sense approach applies. Your tree was only 3 quotes, but they were all huge.  We expect you (and all posters) to be judicious in deciding what is and is not likely to interrupt the experience of other users, and what is and is not necessary to politely get your point across.

I don't understand , if this is such a big issue why is it not treated directly? the forum software shouldn't allow more than 3 nested quotes to occur in such case, simply only considering the last 3 when quoting something.

This would make life easier for pretty much everyone.

That would be great, but you can't have everything in life, so we make do.

It would also make things easier if they prevented posts from being published that contained terms like "fanboy" and set the post to "needs moderation" status. However much like the quote rule its left up to the users. It's better to give users that amount of freedom and wiggle room. As far as quotes tho it's not frequent enough to require direct action from the site devs. Not to mention it would likely be a pain in the arse to program in. Who knows tho get in touch with the devs and see if you can make it happen.

I am pretty sure these things are fairly easy to program.

In the case of the quote tree it's simply a matter of removing nested quotes higher than a certain level.
