mr_capello said: I'm always a bit baffled when people predict doom and gloom for a gaming console especially so early in the product cycle. Back in 2008/2009 the same thing was said about the ps3. Publishers and developers threatened to cut support because sales where that bad. And look what happend... it pretty much caught up to the 360 |
Yep, PS3 surpassed 360 in the Global, but we are talking about Playstation, the most popular Console on the Planet, apart from NA.
If PS3 was able to outsell 360 in the end, being released 1 full year after in NA and Japan and 16 months later in Europe, with an insane expensive price at Launch and always more expensive till the end, harder to develop for, with multiplatform games looking/performing better for the majority on 360, what do you think PS4 will do ?! MS got weaker, Sony got stronger, PS4 was released at the same time, more powerful, more friendly to develop for, better multiplatform games, very competitive price, etc etc etc Playstation Now is coming... how can you see an inversion(what happened with PS3 and 360) considering this and in the light of new facts/rumors --->
