Tomorrow comes today - Super Time Force hits Xbox One and Xbox 360

Capybara's Super Time Force - a pixellated mind-merge of Back to the Future, the Power Rangers and 16 bit gaming at large - is finally here. The game can be downloaded right now on both Xbox 360 and Xbox One - it'll set you back $14.99 US, £11.99 or €14.99, with more regional pricing details to follow.

What's so super about the titular Super Time Force? Well, they can rewind time at will or upon death in order to replay levels in the company of their past selves. Result: boss battles in which up to 30 temporally displaced Super Timers fire all manner of heavy ordinance at some comicbook beastie. As a trailer memorably reflects, it's like watching a cloud of locusts devour a road-killed carcass.

The Xbox 360 version accounts for 550.18 MB, while the Xbox One version soaks up 808.08 MB. We'll have a review for you soon.
