Forums - Gaming - #BewareMeltdownsImminent Titanfall build up and running on PS4, going multiplatform says Insider, is it Titanfall 2? *Rumor*

The hype around the game was because it is so damn good, being exclusive was just like icing on the cake for certain people, but i doubt there would be meltdowns here

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

Not happening, move on guys.

I would have bought this if it was released along side other platforms. Later this year I will be buying Destiny and The Order 1886, next year Uncharted, so I would not necessarily look forward to it anymore. Plenty of shooter/multiplayer for me.

At least on PS4. Hoping for a summer sale next month where I can buy it for at most $40 for PC.

We already knew it was being developed for PS3/PS4 prior to the lifetime exclusive deal. This footage was from before the lifetime exclusive deal went through so not sure what this proves.

It was no where near as good as the hype.

Sorry I disagree for me the only game that wasn't as good as its hype over the past few years was GTA4

I still won't be the least bit surprised if Titanfall 1 ends up on PS4 by November. When has an EA-published game ever remained exclusive to one console brand?

If (*ahem*when*ahem*) this game comes to PS4 or PS3, then 2 things:

1. Duh. I've been saying it all along. EA don't do exclusive. Even when they have "exclusive deals" they still multiplat the content. Mass Effect is my primary example. When was the last time EA had a big time exclusive? SSX? When the Dreamcast was all but dead (not to mention various disagreements between EA and Sega in general) and the Xbox and GC hadn't released yet?

2. I still wouldn't care enough to buy it.

1. Mass Effect took 5 years to make it to PS3. So you think in 5 years PS4 will get the "Titanfall Collectors Edition" with Titanfall 1-3? Seems fair to guess.

2. I know right, because the game is dirty with Xbox fingerprints. The dirt aint coming off no matter how much you clean the disc. If it came to PS4 you would still feel dirty touching the box because the game was with the enemy first! Eh? Eeeeeeh? ;)

(Point being, something tells me the reason is psychological more then anything).

1. Mass Effect took 5 years because it was originally published by Microsoft. The moment EA got their hands out it, they multiplatted the franchise. But, just to humor me, can you name the last time EA made an exclusive game....that stayed exclusive? With the ME example, EA retro multiplatted the game. They went backwards into the franchise in order to put it out on multiple platforms. That's dedication.

2. No, not because it's originally an Xbox game. I genuinely don't care much to pay for it. And for reference, I played BioShock 1, so, sarcasm aside, I won't not play a game just because it was on a different system first. Nothing psychological about it. Personally, I'm just tired of FPS right now. It's why I'm not hyped for Destiny either
