$120 a year for unlimited Balloon Fight access. Lol, I'll pass.
I would not buy. I'm not really down with subscription streaming for this type of thing. I like the fact that I can still play all my Wii VC games, at this point 5 years after purchasing some of them. Buying the like 10 games I bought (I got about 8 others just on Wii through Club Nintendo) ran me like $75 to play as long as my WiiU lives.
Subscribing to them for access at any time would by now have cost me... $600. Admittedly, if they allow by month I could just pay only when I feel like accessing, but I don't want to pay $10 every few months when I feel like playing fucking Ocarina of Time again for a few hours. I would never do it! I'd only have te desire to play one game at a time, and the desire to play that one game would almost never push me over the $10 barrier. Or maybe even $5.
PSNow is one thing, if you're gonna make that you're entire gaming lifestyle and it brings you new games. I'm still not down with that but I don't think it's stupid.
Not to mention it's streaming on Nintendo's servers. Streaming can be bad enough everywhere else, can they handle it? And of course this would mean I'd need constant internet to stream, which I don't want and is not valuable when the game you're playing is 15 years old. Your console can run that itself, it doesn't need to stream from somewhere...
I would like them to slightly reduce VC prices or have sales sometimes. That would get me to pick up a lot more games and probably spend more total, but I'm not subscribing. I'd also like them to make accounts cross platform so I own the same games on 3DS as I do WiiU. Maybe even cross platform saves. I'd like that.

It's just a "prediction" anyway, meaning it likely isn't going to happen.
Not to mention it wouldn't really be economical. You'd have to buy a LOT of VC games for the subscription to be worth it in the long run. Nintendo's better off just cultivating more value in the existing VC structure (first by putting more damn games in there, second by running more sales like the Super Metroid for $0.50 deal)

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I wouldn't. Sounds like a terrible deal, there's no way to justify $120 a year for access to old games, especially since people already played most of the good ones or could get access to them for way cheaper.
You're Gonna Carry That Weight.
Xbox One - PS4 - Wii U - PC
In general, the notion of a games streaming service simply isn't practical. We'll see how "PS Now" works out, but it's not a proven quantity at this point, at all. There are so many variables that could interrupt or outright ruin your gaming experience. I'd rather own a game on disc, or at least download it digitally and have it on the hard-drive. Leaving things in a "cloud", as it were, just does not seem sound, much less appealing.

Glad someone actually read all two paragraphs. It's not a "rumor," it's a "wish."
