Another Titanfall game later in the fall/winter doesn't sound too surprising because EA does need a 1st person shooter game for Holiday 2014 to compete with COD Advanced Warfare. It's not another Battlefield or Bad Company game. I doubt it's another Medal of Honor. What other FPS is left for EA for this holiday?

Although Microsoft has exclusivity with Titanfall, EA can repackage Titanfall with some minor changes and call it a different game (instead of making a sequel): Titanfall Origins or Titanfall Maximum or whatever, etc. Most importantly, make it multiplatform to compete with the next COD.

I'm looking forward to when Titanfall 2 gets announced as a multiplatform game. It'll be nice when all the people that can't or won't admit they want the game can finally curtail all of the downplay and vitriol and embrace how great a properly fleshed out sequel [with a hopefully significant single-player/co-op campaign and other new game modes] will be.

You still brought it in, potentially opening can of worms you couldn't clean up. I think it's heavily agreed upon that Titanfall did not sell as well as expected by failing to healthy propelling Xbox One sales past the PlayStation4.  Besides taking that out on a group of people just deal with it by leaving anything PlayStation related out of it.

Were there sales expectations laid out by MS and Respawn?

If anything MS made on average $70-80 on each copy of Titanfall on X1 and X360.

Titanfall is an online only game that requires XBL to play. So $10-20 on HW royalties per-copy plus XBL subs and renewals make your point extra moot.

X1 and X360 sales account for 2.26 million users and I doubt MS spent $158 million on a small studio like Respawn.

The ones every one had, become then next great selling shooter and give X1 a boost to finally out sale PS4 on its home market.  Im not sure why you pretending you dont know other then it failed to achieve them.  Everything you posted is just your opinion, what exactly are you arguing with that baseless opinion ?

so they made 70/80 on each TF... what about those coumple hundreds of thousands free bundle giveaways that im sure they had to pay Ea for.

Although Titanfall didn't live up to the Hype and have pulled 'ok' numbers; I think the sequel will be BIG

Full game with a release on the biggest console userbase, it be a decent guess thats what Ea is betting on.

Unless they plan to keep it online only and turn out a TF on the yearly, with MS $ to keep it exclusive.   

Your comments also has no fundament. Show me an article where MS said they woud outsell PS4 when Titanfall released.
