Forums - Gaming - Titanfall Sells Nearly 1 Million in First 3 Weeks (US)

Respawn Entertainment's Titanfall has sold 925,000 units in its first quarter, according to Electronic Arts.

This is "great," according to EA COO Peter Moore, as Titanfall on Xbox One and PC spent just three weeks on the fiscal quarter's calendar. It was Xbox One's best-selling game in March. This did not include the Xbox 360 release. This sales data, via NPD, includes physical copies sold in North America only.

EA announced today that it would partner with Respawn on "new Titanfall experiences" going forward, but it didn't specify what that would entail.

The PS5 Exists.

What did EA even contribute to this game?  Didn't Microsoft pay for the development when it was supposed to get canceled or something, and I'm assuming Microsoft paid for the ads since they say X1 at the end.

Add "In the US" to the thread title :)

Won bet with t3mporary_126 - I correctly predicted that the Wii U's LTD at the end of 2014 would be closer to 9 million than 10 million. http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=6673287

The 360 version is being treated as the retarded step child. Even though it's out selling everything per week.

This is from the quarterly earnings call. 360 version is not a part of last quarter.

Nice. So if we take VGC numbers (800k) it's either under tracked or has decent digital sales. I hope it's the latter. I certainly bought it digitally.

Why not both?
