Yeah you have to plug in a USB stick into the PS4. That way you get to use it wirelessly. |

Are you talking about the lag? Yeah, the servers of Blacklight are absolute fucking shit. The game itself is a damn good f2p game, but the shitty potato servers kill off the whole game.

Wow they just arrived at my doorstep! I've used them for like 5 minutes on GTA V so this is very early impressions.
They feel so good! This was a big deal to me because I wear glasses so I needed a comfortable headset. The sound is very good thus far but I'm going to play more before I go further in depth on this. I'm downloading some presets from the App right now.
I listened to some music on it through my computer and it says awesome. Very clear sound, nice bass and very comfortable.
Played Bad Company 2 for fun with the PS Gold headset because I know that game has amazing sound.
Wow. It was so intense. Buildings collapsing, grenades exploding, gunfire etc. Very awesome. And then I had a quiet section where I was on a boat. You could hear the different wildlife. I could even make out the direction they were in and they would fly right over my head. So far I'm very impressed.
Playing some GTA now.

Sounds great. I use some old sennheiser 360game who are wired, but are planning to buy a new headset. Can you use PS gold headset with PC also ?

Yes I just used them on my mac to listen to music. If you use them on a PS console you can do so wirelessly, but if you plan on using it on a PC you have to plug it in using a cable.
Also there's a settings called "Virtual Surround Sound" on the headset. Basically just enables the 7.1 Surround sound but it will only work if you use it on the console, doesn't work on PC.

Thx for info will look them up. 7.1 yeah !. But need to check for 7.1 for PC also.
Some GTA V impressions with the Gold headsets.
So far so good. The bass is really nice. I went on a killing spree and just drove around with my car throwing C4 and blowing it up. Felt so good hearing the explosion behind me.
I walked by a construction site. I'm not sure if I just never really paid attention to this stuff, or if the headset is very good at making you hear all the little details.
I could hear tools actually being used as I walked by. Saws, hammers, vehicles etc. I don't remember ever hearing things like that before in the game.
So far I'm really happy with this. Apparently the mic quality is really good, as I asked some people on GTA online what they thought. I love being able to adjust the volume of the game/peoples mics on the fly and it's super easy to mute yourself. At first it was weird because I didn't know where the buttons on the mic were, so I had to take it off to adjust things like volume and whatnot, but you get used to the placement of buttons on the headset very quickly.
Sigh... PSN down again! It's ridiculous that now that it's paid it is the shittiest it has ever been... PS3/Vita PSN > PS4 PSN. It's fucking ridiculous.

Mine's working. On their support page it says it's because of high traffic. Maybe some people heard it was working again and then decided to try it causing to crash again
