the game interests me, but it just seems "to japanese" for me. i wish they would release it on PS+ so i can try it out.

If you had told me a European company made it I'd believe you. The art style feels mix of east and west.   A ssomeone who plays a lot of Japanese games I may be skewed, but this feels closer to an "Ico" in regards to design and aesthetic.

really? the characters, the art style (costumes, enemies, weapons) storytelling,... very anime... all of it.

if someone would ve told me its western made i d have looked at him/her funny.

Well, maybe I am skewed due to over exposure of Japan, but first country I thought of was France and their animation style.  The characters never do any of the "anime cliches" I am familiar with, seems more grounded.

In any event, the game is amazing to play even if some of the challenges are difficult for me, it never feels unfair.

Actually the game is very French. It was inspired by a french comic called Moebius, the game's Project name was in french (Gravité), and part of the music has a french vibe too. It is a Japanese take on french material.

Coincidently or not, (this is using VGC numbers so could be wrong), the PSV version did sell a lot more in France than other EU countries like Germany and UK. Almost 50k vs ~26k in the others

No you didn't, even told you to get it full with DLC waaay after I told you to get it the first time and still before you got it xP

Anyway, that's a reason you should try Demon's Souls, so you actually take your ground and feel tne pressure and power of the enemies, it's just amazing, I remember trying to shield the Flamelurker or the Old Hero or the Tower Knight, etc, was just insane, you feel like a lil' bitch but it's so damn good to put or shield up and say: yup, come at me.

You can always pick a two hand stance or use two weapons if you don't like it, or go for the magic, but I recommend takimg them head on, it's insane.

Demon's Souls may not have the same gothic and brilliant design Bloodborne has, but it without a dout has still a heavy atmosphere, there is a place with this gothic style there, also, and the lore is the best, I'm telling you, go play that thing, it's not for nothing I put it there high with RDR and TLOU on 7th gen masterpieces, you agree with those two and now already got the Souls style into you, just go play it so you can thank me later on that as wrll xP

wow.. stalker memory right there... lol

but yeah now i remember, i was kinda 80% set on getting it though.

if i am gonna play a souls game its gonna be DS3, because... new is always better lol. if i do play it, and like it, then i might get DS2 on PS4 with all the DLC and shit. but either way, april is Uncharted month. so me getting a Dark Souls game is a long way off

Yeah play Demon's Souls
but drop it after ~12 hours

Not the game fault you couldn't deal with the man eaters, BroLad owned them!

Doesn't matter, I went to another place and defeated another boss and after him it sucked too so..

Just go back and deal with it.

Already did and dropped it again. It really went from great to awful after going through the best parts of Latria

these are the ones I defeated:

Phalanx

Armor Spider

Fool's Idol

Adjudicator

Leechmonger

Tower Knight

Flamelurker

From what i saw on lists it seems there are 3 bosses that are more common than Maneater but I never met them (Dragon God, Penetrator, Old Hero)

Playing Gravity Rush Remastered on PS4 and a big television is pure bliss. I am amazed they manage to make a game using every direction and yet I never get disoriented. Cannot wait for the sequel later this year.

i agree the 60fps feels very well with 1080p. I think i would get motion sick playing it on the vita
