Short of saying it has a minimalist narrative, tough enemies and fully orchestrated music, this "leak" has everything I would want in a Wii U Zelda. Some references to Welsh myth would be nice, too, but I can live without that.

The more appropriate questions are: will they release a Zelda game for the Wii u and if so will it be the " big. " Zelda game spoken if months or a year+ back or will they do a scaled down 3 ds version instead

Yup.

Months ago I made a prediction that there won't be a proper Zelda game for Wii U (Zelda U) and that's why I call it Zelda HD. In that prediction I wrote that Nintendo won't spend and waste money in a console like Wii U and move the project for the succesor, maybe at launch to generate enough hype (like TP).
Some people agreed and make good points like a ALBWHD multiplayer. I also mentioned about TPHD remake announced to fill the gap.
After today, I can see it. Hyrule Warriors for 2014, MM3D for 2015 and TPHD/ALBWHD multiplayer for 2015-2016 is more than enough Zelda until the big project one in holiday 2016 for the Wii U succesor.
Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever
Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe
Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor
Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

I think people need to see financials numbers before making posting rumors.

I remember reaading your Zelda prediction and thinking I would not be surprised if it turned out to be acurate- Now i m thinking the % of it being right are much higher now- However, if Nintendo does hold back the "real" Zelda game for the Wii U I think it will be a huge mistake - Nintendo needs to think about its reputation, its credibility and relevance to both gamers and potental future custoers- If i buy another Nintendo home console it will not be at launch like I bought the Wii U- I ll wait a few years for it to prive itself , the library to grow and the price to drop- I will bet I am not the only persone thinkng that way- Conventional wisdom re Ninty home consoles wil be "to wait as long as it takes" before buying. If they want to have any chance at momentum for their next console launch they will have to invest a TON of cash to have great games ready to go and lots of them - a great console that people can t resist etc. But there is no way the current leadership at Ninty wll make that kind of investment up front-
As good a product and as good of library as the 3ds has, its sales are drpping fast- we all no what the Wii U situation is and even the wii software sales, which has sold a fair amount (prob close to what the 3ds has sold ) over the last 1.5-2 years has dropped considerably. For this fiscal year for Ninty they are looking at either down arrows or flat arrows- even if they surprised everyone and the Wii U software and hardware sales grew by a hefty % and the 3DS sales picked up more than most expect- they still would not "move the needle" nealry enough- both of thse consoles would have to insane # s for them to ean an operating proft this year-

Complete bullshit.
Nintendo has already officially announced that they are going to use the GamePad in the next Zelda title. So - if this doesn't make a Zelda U - what esle should it be?
Also Iawata has stated that they won't release a succesor to the Wii U until they have satisfied the Wii U owners. Your thoughts are total contradictionary to this.
In fact the Wii U has a LONG life to go. They have just scratched the surface of whats possible. And thats mostly in the graphics department. But gameplay and social connectivity wise the current situation is like looking onto a map of an undiscovered land...
So Mario Kart 8, Smash Bros. and Zelda U might be great titles. But they are NOTHING compared what the Wii U can offer with it's unique abilities thanks to the GamePad...
It's a fucking wet dream. I might have almost believed it, if not for the stupid holiday 2014 thing at the end. 0% chance. But fine, you want me to discuss the points...well they're really vague, but the art style is exactly what I'm hoping for and expecting, and a lot of the points make a lot of sense. I love the highly variable gameplay bit, the bit about sidequests, and the bit about paying homage to the whole series. 150 hours would be pretty mindblowing, so that's another sign this is fake, but if the variable gameplay bit is right, then the part about replayability being fantastic would be right too. If every point on this list comes true (save for the 2014 release date, that doesn't matter), then this would become the greatest Zelda of all time, hands down. It might get called the greatest game of all time, as well. It might sound cliche to say it would save the Wii U, but come on, anyone that missed out on a game of this calibur couldn't call themselves a gamer, the Wii U would sell 50 million for sure.
