2 for me. Improved everything from the first one and didn't looked like a ps2 game...
People will say GOW 3 cause of DAT GRAPHICS but the best paced and with the better story was GOW 2, that game turned things up to 11/10 it was a very hard follow up for GOW 3
The first two games on PS2 weren't surpassed by the PS3 games.
GOW 2 is the best of the series IMO.
PSP God of War games were pretty good.Ghost of Sparta is the better one of the 2.
GoW 3 wins easily

(all these games are great at least)
Then the 2 PSP ones which are still good.

My thougths exactly.
The first half of GoW 2 was mind blowing, easily my favorite game of the series, unfortunately it lost its steam in the second half.
GoW 3 is winning this poll but I personally had to force myself to play it.
Deus Ex (2000) - a game that pushes the boundaries of what the video game medium is capable of to a degree unmatched to this very day.

Nope. First one was best, 2nd was still really good, 3 was a disappointment and 4 was ok but worse than 3.
