We should know since Fortaleza that they try out different stuff you can put on your head.

And people who think that MS or Sony have been simply copying others are silly.

Well, companies copy each other's ideas all the time and they would be stupid if they wouldn't. Maybe Microsoft got the information that Sony is working on something years ago or maybe Sony heard it about Microsoft, we will never know that but it only shows that they take their competition's ideas serious which is a good sign and not a bad one.

Looking at what the competition does doesn't mean that you don't do anything on your own. Every company does it

Well I was saying in a different manner, companies always observe the market... they try to be the leader and have the cream, but if something gets big and they haven't before they will invest on it. But it isn't as if MS copied eye toy to make Kinect or Sony copied Wii to make Move... they are usually experimentating with different things and the ones that will suceed see the light of day, and sometime they were deving even tought thinking not much would come of it and a competitor releases a product that make sucess and then they rush to release their project.

I do have to wonder if VR will be like 3d where its zomfg for a little bit until people realize that a TV/monitor is all they need... Although, 3d tits is certainly an unique experience so I am sure VR is also unique experience so maybe it will turn out more like the 3ds where the only time anyone ever uses it is for tits

I love 3D and really think they should have release more content in 3D, and VR+AR+3D equal we achieving real 3D projection and total imersion soon... one step before "dream play" were we use just our toughts to play.

And on that day, the human population will start to decline just as how sex in Japan has decreased over the years (most likely due to all the cheaper alternatives)

Like in the Stalone movie "Demolition Man" were when they wanted to have sex with another person they would each hook up in a machine???

Well japan problem is that they can't have open and legal sex with girls aged 8 and put octopus arms in their cunt, so they preffer the movies and hentai were that is allowed... if government took action and made all that legal, sex would florish there.

Last I heard they were more interested in AR

Probably Sony and MS are experimentating with both... let's see who will manage to release a sucess first.

Seeing how Sony already has a working presentable prototype and a clear commitment to VR while MS has announced nothing I think it's save to say who will be first.

I've used both extensively and I'm certain it's not.

Do you like sports?

Have you imagined watching the Football World Cup Final while walking around on the pitch? Or sitting courtside in an NBA game? VR has unbelievable possibilities - all it will take is time.

Don't even get me started on the gaming possibilities.

Ms may hit first with AR.

Sony will surely release VR earlier. Well, unless MS is going for a huge surprise at E3.

I wouldn't be able to contain myself if they would spent half of their press conference on their VR and how it enhances TV^^
