So lets take a moment to look back on a time when games were about games,, I know a lot of you have fond memories of old systems and games, so I figured it would be fun to have a thread for people to post their own retro reviews and discuss old games/franchises/systems, I'll keep OP updated with a list of reviews everyone posts, you can use emulation or the legit hardware if you want.

I have a shittone of Japanese titles for every system but I live relatively close to an epic source of retro japanese games. With that said, any of you got some suggestions of obscure or underappreciated games on various systems? If there's a particular game you'd like me to review then suggest away and i'll look for it.

Hmm, how about Mother 3? I was always curious as to how that game is since there is always this hype behind it everytime someone mentions earthbound

Most definitely worth a look. The fan translation is quite good. I really enjoyed the game myself. No need to hype yourself up too much, but I can say if

 you're interested you shouldn't pass up the opportunity to try.
