Ideally, I'd get every system, but I'm too poor. Last non-Nintendo system I had was a PS2. Last gen I played most of the multiplats on my friends systems. This gen I hope to eventually get the other systems, and eventually get last gen's systems to dip into the vast 7th gen library. Curse Sony and Microsoft for not making their systems backwards compatible. That was a major thing contributing to getting a Wii U, as my Wii is on its last leg, so I'm glad to be able to keep playing Wii games if it dies. For now, I'm not getting many multiplats right now, but even after I get my PS4, I might get some multiplats on Wii U since it has free online. I can't afford paying for online, I can barely afford the 1st party Nintendo games I want. College debt, man.

I put buy all systems but don't have a ps4 or xbone yet but intend to buy at some point. No point currently as neither have software that interests me enough at this point.

I go to Wii U and PS3 for multi-plats depending on what it's available on, and I'll usually prefer my 3DS over Vita and Vita over PS3 but not always (since sometimes there are multi-plats like Conception II for 3DS/Vita and others for PS3/Vita and I have to decide on a system)

You only think the poll options are dumb because you are unable to understand the point of the thread.  In your attempt to call the options stupid, you only make yourself look unintelligent.  Think things through next time, or perhaps try responding with a little class.

They are the point of the poll.  THe point is that most Wii U owners already had a PS360 when they bought the system.  So when it comes to buying multiplats - especially ones with online multiplayer - that is where they buy them.  That's why 3rd party games aren't selling well on Wii U.  It's not that "Nintendo Gamers" don't like the multiplats, but rather that they play them on other systems.


Tecnically yes, but ps3 and x360 are on their way out, so when it comes to multiplats titles wii u will compete against the current gen consoles. Besides, ps4/x1 games right now, are selling very good despise the low userbase and the competition with ps360.

You are really failing to grasp the point of this thread.  Keep trying.

As it stands in the poll, only 20% of current Wii U owners are exclusively Wii U owners. With 80% of Wii U owners having another option for playing multiplats, and most multiplats arriving earlier or with better versions on other systems, it's no wonder they aren't selling well on Wii U. Especially when you consider a game like COD where a player would potentially have a long friend list on PS3 or 360.

Indeed, but people still dispute it and wonder why multiplats don't sell well on Wii U.  The common conclusion is that "Nintendo gamers" don't like these types of titles.  The reality is that "Nintendo gamers" do like these titles, they like them so much that they have another system to play them on.

i think the conclusion is that 3rd parties have a general apathy toward putting stuff on Wii U, for reasons you already stated. Other consloe or just not interested. The problem is that some people will complain that Wii u isnt getting the game, simply out of fanboy reasons. They dont really care for the game they just dont like that it isnt on their system of choice despite the fact they can get it on another system they already have and if they dont have that system they really didn want said game in the 1st place at least not that badly. Its lip service really.
