I all ready gave it up. Counting down the days for a $350 kinectless sku and a $299 discless X1, given the decline of physical media with a thread somewhere here talking about that.

A) i don't think we'll see discless this gen basically on the grounds of removing the disc drive won't save much money.    ..not relative to the potential down-sides of consumer sku confusion and the bad PR that will probably follow an "online only" machine.

B) with respect to your sig,.. shouldn't you add CoD to xbox?

B. The trailer alone isn't enough, lets see if MS hogs it at e3 lol

CoD ghosts?  on xbone and had ms exclusive advertising and all.

For convenience, let me quote parts of this article:

For example, a consumer cannot decide between two popular video game consoles, but in the end decides to purchase the one that many of their peers also own. After purchasing it, they may find few games for their console worth purchasing, and more for the console they did not purchase. However, they do not wish to feel they made the wrong decision, and so will attempt to convince themselves, and their peers, that their original choice was the correct one, and the consumer's opinion is better than everyone's opinion, i.e. using sour grapes arguments

The above should help you navigate VGChartz quite nicely.

Never would use any of those excuses the main reason to buy any platform is still the amount of games it has that you are interested in and if it has enough games that you are interested in then its worth buying no matter what other people may think.

The ONLY justification I ever use is this:

I want to play those games.

What about the excuse of "I just bought PS4 to prepare for GT7"???

duduspace11 "Well, since we are estimating costs, Pokemon Red/Blue did cost Nintendo about $50m to make back in 1996"

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

No actual people say these things. And if people really cared they'd buy all of the systems/pc.

Why there is a need of justify your purchase?=P beside the only true of those, is the wii u one.

none of the options are that expensive for what you get out of it tbh.........I don't need an excuse to spend a little cash on a big part of my life.

^Yes that's me ripping it up in the GIF. :)

The only reason I buy a certain console is based on how convoluted it is. That's why I only own Nintendo consoles.

3ds : I could have bought a phone can't do this

This reminds me that some people have told me that I should have got a smartphone instead of the 3DS but screw phones XD.

Edit: I have a phone but it's not smart...
