Recently I've been very interested in the Final Fantasy games. I've never played any, which game do you guys advice start with on the PS3? I've been looking at reviews and metacritic scores, still. I need the advice from the true Final Fantasy fans, which games do you recommand?

I've been looking into:

- Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster

- Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII (especially interested why this one is dissapointing)

- Final Fantasy XIII

- Final Fantasy XIII-2

Help me! 

X / X-2 HD remaster would be the best to begin IMO.

XIII series is mainly criticized as bad FF. It still have a lot of fans so you would have to try to make your own opinion on the subject. I personnally liked XIII.

FFX HD.

I am the same way. I bought Final Fantasy XIV on PS4 and now I want to go back and look into the other games. So, I need the same advice.

FFX HD by a mile. If you have not played older FF you might like XIII. If you have played older FF, I mean virtually any older FF, you will likely think XIII is trash. Surely, this isn't true for everyone, but personally, I know almost zero adults who like it enough to put it in their top 5. It seems to be bigger with younger ppl. (nephews, friends kids, people under 18 etc. seem to like it)

I'd give X/X-2 HD a try, if you have a PSP you have to try FF Crisis Core, still my favorite FF game of all time.  

If you like wiping shit on your face I'd recommend FF13 - 13-3 very accurate representation of garbage.

The problem with the Final Fantasy series is that it has so many differing opinions. I love FF8, someone else says FF8 is the shittiest game ever created. Someone hates FFXIII, another loves the characters and gameplay.

I would suggest starting with FFX/X-2, and then purchasing the others. Each title is different so you really have to decide for yourself.
