MMOs alone make up 20% of the industry!? I had no idea a genre could be so massive.

Excluding MMOs the revenues are slowly shrinking. Total revenues about -2.5% 2013 to 2014.
Console revenues are still growing slightly. Total revenues about +3.2% 2013 to 20014

Yeah there is lots of indie stuff, but the prices are low and sales are on all the time now.

I don't know how they came to -7% YOY in the pie chart for pc, it's -2.5% according to the top graph. And they lumped consoles and handhelds together in the pie chart. Excluding handhelds, games still generate 4x as much revenue on consoles as on PC according to this. Ofcourse with 360,PS3,Wii,WiiU,XB1,PS4 to split the revenues over, PC still remains a good bet for indies with limited resources.
