no. the ones who can afford a 399 console in china can afford a 499 too. they can't lower the price enough to appeal to mass market. but they also don't need to.

it's enough to enter the market. spread the word of mouth and make the chinese people want to have a xbox one. it's the brand power that is able to grow in china. and in 5-6 years they maybe be able to appeal to mass market.

To be fair none of any September countries(JP/HK/CH/TW etc) announced Xbox One price yet,so i guess there will be price drop before September,then they will finally announce the price for September countries.

Yea, hopfully by september it's close to 100 bucks off the original price. X1 needs it.

Come September, X1 will be out here and 55 countries in total. Finally we will be on even footing!



Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.
