Congratulations, I've decided to hand over my Book of Killing to you, for you to use however you see fit.

This book allows you to kill a person by writing down their name, so long as you know what their face looks like. You can also dictate when they die and how they die. If you don't specify how they die, they will simply die of a heart attack. Similarly, any scenarios that are impossible to achieve in death would also simply result in a heart attack.

The only condition for me giving you this book, is that I'm interested to know how you would use such a tool.

Would you use it to kill all those on the FBI's most wanted list?

Would you kill those that stand in your way to success?

Would you use it at all?

I am interested to hear your ideas, and therefore who to suspect the most should suspicious deaths start emerging in the future as a result of this book falling into the wrong hands.

Just give me a few weeks with it until our train stations are smoke free. The only problem would be that I'd look quite suspicious going around asking strangers for their name.
I'd wish there was an easier way. Using a book and names seems quite archaic and too much work.

I doubt I'd use it.

Killing someone is too heavy a thing, and nobody has really wronged me to the point of where i'd want to punch them, let alone kill them.

Situations where there is an FBI list etc are a bit more complicated then "Kill someone and the world is a better place".

Only way i can imagine a book being useful is hostage standoffs.

I'd never use it. Its not up to me to end the life of anyone even if they are terrible people.

It's funny you should say that - I can offer you the ability to see somebody's name just by looking at them to make the killing process even easier. However, the penalty for this is half of your remaining lifespan.

Or I could just wait a few years and then let Google Glass tell me the names to the people I see. Without any penaly.

I mean really, we're in 2014. How about a photo app?  Take a photo of your victim and tap on the way they should die.

I would burn the book.

Even if the world would be better without certain human beings, I wouldn't consider myself an adequate judge for such a termination of human life.

I would use the hell out of it and make like a million dollars then just hold onto it, and only use it an emergencies.
