The actual consumer sales matter more. Xbox One is 1.7 million away. I'd expect it to pass Wii U in the Fall or Winter.

Well...
PS4 sold to consumers 4.2 million at end of 2013... that means minimum of 4.5 million shipped (heavly supply issues).
PS4 sold to consumers 7.0 million at end of March 2014... that means minimum of 7.5 million shipped (supply issues only in Europe)
Think like Sony shipped 3 million this quarter.
Compare with 1.2 million of Xbone.
Yeap... it is closing lol

5.) wii u probably has at least 600k on shelves (they are in 72 + countries dont forget compared to xbox ones 13) |
If Nintendo meets it's Wii U forcast of 6.25 million, only around 250-300K (depending on how close VGC is at the moment) Wii U's could be sitting on shelves right now.
Bets:
1. If the Wii U sells closer to 10 million LTD by 1/3/2015 I win. If it sells closer to 9.5 million LTD by 1/3/2015 OfficerRaichu15 wins (winner gets 2 weeks of avatar control)--Lost.

2.) Watchdogs/madden/fifa (does that come out q2?) etc will have a larger effect than titanfall. Titanfall effect isn't over either. |
Madden and FIFA typically release in August-September, so unless EA has made some announcement of which I'm unaware, they aren't coming any time soon. That leaves Watch_Dogs as the only major release for the quarter. Like Titanfall, it's a new IP. Unlike Titanfall, it's not pseudo-exclusive. Maybe I should say it's "less" exclusive than Titanfall. If COD, Assassin's Creed, Battlefield, etc are any indication, the XBO will be the fourth most popular platform for the title, with the 360, PS3, and PS4 versions all selling better.
I see no reason to expect the Xbox One's Q2 release schedule to drive more sales than its Q1 releases. If the XBO is going to see growth this quarter, it'll have to be for different reasons.
