2016 is just ridiculous to even speculate to seeing as the teaser trailer came out in November. I don't think ND would release any announcement if they didn't have a fair deal of the groundwork done or planned out.

But no game is free from development problems, and Sony's studios have been having problems as of late. My guess is that the people did just leave for better jobs. Here's hoping to a November 2014 release!

The Last of Us was announced about 20 months before the game effective launch, end they already showed "in-game" footage.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Last_of_Us#Development

It was a cutscene, that didn't even make it into the final game. I'd hardly call that in game footage, as:

1) It was a cutscene

2) It never even made it into the game.

Because even if they had not announced Uncharted, PS4 would have still sold out. So you're telling me they were desperate for sales, and therefore decided to tease an Uncharted game to push people into buying a PS4? Sony couldn't sell any more PS4's because they were sold out.

Also, an early announcement of a ND game isn't something new lol...Last of us revealed in December 2011 and it launched June 2013...2 years later

Uncharted 4 revealed November 2013...Launches 2015??

Last of us: 18 months

Uncharted DF: 18 months

Unchretd 2 & 3:  12 months

Uncharted 4 November 2013 to 2015...  13 months.  I still say late 2015.

Same. I am expecting Holiday 2015 release.

March 2015... you read that here.

They have a tag on the video saying "In game footage" or something in that direction.

The Wiki article states that the development started right after Uncharted 2 was shipped, and the two time split happened only when Uncharted 3 was in the final stages.

Any way this is jsut to show that there is nothing out of extraordinary to tease a game almost two years before it´s released.

Have you seen Drive Club?

What about DriveClub? It was announced February 2013, a year ago. Also, off topic but okay...

I'm sure Sony needed to announce Uncharted PS4 to sell some consoles. Lmao

Needed to?  No.  Did it help push some people into buying it early?  Probably.  Good business idea?  Yes.  Not sure why that makes you laugh...

I assume you understand the idea of supply vs demand?  Just because you know demand is higher than supply, doesnt mean you dont stop trying to increase demand.  As long as demand is higher than supply, you are going to sell more product.  Not sure why you are being defensive about this, it is just good business strategy, nothing to do with being desperate.

Too early.  Plus, they will probably want it as a holiday title anyway, so even if it is done by then, they will hold it until the holidays.

I hope it doesn't take until 2016. It's the only upcoming PS4 game I want right now.

They won't move this to Holiday and they might stick june like last of us which worked pretty well.

GAMING is not about spending hours to pass/waste our time just for fun,

its a Feeling/Experience about a VIRTUAL WORLD we can never be in real, and realizing some of our dreams (also creating new ones).

So, Feel Emotions, Experience Adventure/Action, Challenge Game, Solve puzzles and Have fun.

PlayStation is about all-round "New experiences" using new IP's to provide great diversity for everyone.

Xbox is always about Online and Shooting.

Nintendo is always about Fun games and milking IP's.
