When you see this ton of games drop onto the PSN store on the Vita and you look to Nintendo refusing to even trickle 1 or 2 gba games onto the 3ds eshop and still be asking the same price as FF7/8/9 would cost you on the Vita for some NES games. Really makes me consider what people are thinking when buying those and claiming the Vita has no games.

In a way, I agree with you because Nintendo makes you pay full price repeatedly for the same stuff while the PSN lets you buy a game once and play it on several platforms....but really, all they did was enable digital backwards compatibility for the games we could already play on PSP.  It's pretty awesome (Finally put my PSP away since I have Crash, Spyro, and Syphon Filter games I couldn't get on Vita) but let's not go overboard here.

I think you are missing his point, the fact that NINTY doesnt do it, is the shocker and really shows how ass backwards they are sometimes. Hell this kind of distribution is standard across the board for not just games.

Nah.  I didn't miss it.  It's a point I've personally made a million times when speaking the Wii/WiiU/3DS.  Hell, I think I said it yesterday in the "Flash Sale" thread.  I just don't think that finally giving us access to the PSP/PS1 games we thought we'd have access to at launch is a big argument in the "Vita has no games" debate.

I had no idea that in the US the vita supported hardly any ps1/psp games, when this news came out yesterday and regions weren't even mentioned in the majority of the articles or comment sections I was really confused.

Is phantasy star portable 2 really on store? Last time I checked, it was removed from the ps store because...reasons

3DS FC :  4339 - 3326 - 7693. Add me :) Nickname Tin

I can't belive it! The Vita is getting so many games with this that it isn't even funny!

Hurray. 2 years later they finally delivered. I feel like such a valued customer.

It's not on the store anymore.  They removed it a while ago because of this causing massive licencing issues:

If you already bought it when it was available, you might be able to download it now, though.

Good move. Maybe they should have at least announced it since launch and delivered asap, probably PSV would have quite higher sales by now.
