Forums - Gaming - How do you feel about game prices?

Well... i can tell you that its highly unlikely i will buy any PS4 games (this includes X1, but as i have a PS4 i will mention that) at full price. Here in europe they shot the prices up and i'm very sorry but i'm not gonna pay 70 euros for a game at launch. Its just not happening unless i have a discount from something else.

I tipically only buy games i really really want at launch. Otherwise i wait for them to drop in price, or wait for a discount on PSN.

I hate the game prices in Canada atm... Its $5 more for virtually every game than the US... Its soo dumb and on top of that, there is 12% tax!!! Its like wtfffffffff

So unless a game is superbly fap worthy, I wont really buy it unless it goes on sale

I feel bad for gamers in other countries. We have it easy in the U.S with game prices and still think they are a bit too high in most cases.

You guys have to pay at a premium :(

Peanuts. Try 21% on most european countries.

Way too expensive but I still buy them. I'm part of the problem.

They are too high for impulse buys. I must be pretty certain I'll like a game to spend CAD 70 on it, almost 80 dollars after tax. I trade in a lot more games nowadays to ease the next purchase. MGS ground zeros at $35 is not appealing either. Digital sucks apart from Steam sales. Trials nation $40, pre-order last of us ps4 now for $70. No thanks.

I paid 69.99 for a digital copy of Titanfal, feel a little hard done tbh.

I can afford all of the games I want to buy, but I would prefer for them to be $10 cheaper.

40$ is the sweet spot for most games. if theyre 9's or 10's in my book ill buy it for 60$

Ltd predictions by the time 9th Gen comes out

Ps4:110million

Xbox one :75 million( was 65)

Wii u: 20 milliion

I hate the prices, but that's a problem that I have in my country. A videogame is incredibly expensive here, being about 900 Pesos. Which is about 1/10 of a good salary here.

They are to high. I barely buy games at full price though.

Hooray for the third world countries! Responding the question, I usually buy games for a 60-70% of the launch price with a few exceptions of games I'm really excited for! Damn taxes...

I think they are decent now. I usually pay full price if a enjoy a game and try to get as much games as I can.
