Good deal. But i would wait some more if i was interested in the X1, as the next price drop is not that far off, judging from the past.

They have had one small official price drop in one territory?

The Xbox 360 didn't get a price drop for 2 years?

So...which past are you referring too?

The X1's of course. It launched at 429 4 months ago.

6 months. And now has an MSRP of 400?

What on earth lends you to the belief it will get a retail discount more than 50?

I never said it would be 50 more. I said if you wait till E3, for example you coulld get it for 320 or something close to that i bet.

At that rate its going to be about £200 for next x-mas...

I really feel I have been screwed buying that thing full price nothing bundle.

RIP ps3, xbox360.

welcome home ps4 and X1

This discount is 50 below MSRP.  And it is astounding - my point was I cannot imagine any retailer going further.

After the UK has already received a price drop, it is hard for me to imagine that Microsoft will drop the price a further 20%

True. But no one was expecting these drop so early a couple of months ago either. I'm just trying to predict based on the events of the past, simple psychology. Not a guarantee of course

In all fairness, I will say this is a good deal...

However, didn't everyone say the same with the first TF bundle price cut as well? Then they included Forza in the bundle a couple of weeks later, and now there is this new "price cut" as well... How can this be considered a good deal, when there potentially could be an even better deal only a month or two down the road?

For me, this is just a big, red flag....

Might as well wait, with all these price cuts, it'll likely go lower.

They must have millions of X1s sitting on shelves still. They shipped 3.9 million by the end of Dec. Which means they barely sold through their Dec. stock. Assuming production of 1 million a month, there's 3 million X1s in warehouses and on shelves.

No wonder there's been so many desperate price and what's worse is, Ps4 is still selling better.

At this point, no one will buy an X1 at full price. MS will have to continue eating the loss by adding a game for free, or continue taking a hit with these price cuts. Surely not what they wished for, but I can't say they didn't deserve it.

I don't think the retailers or Microsoft will or can lower the price even lower than £349.99 without taking losses.

However £349.99 is something like $575 so maybe they can.
