Actually, The Last of Us has no QTEs and is 16 hours of pure gameplay (+1.5 hour of cutscene) which is about 2 times longer than your typicall AAA action adventure game.
But if you wanna hit the pinnacle of interactivity, check out some PC point and click games where you click on a location and watch as your character excitingly walks towards it !! Or how about some awesome PC MMOs like LoL and DOTA where you spend 90% of your time browsing your menus and invenotry and clicking on icons, thats some immersing stuff right there ^^

How is this any different than simply pressing a button to activate a lever or open the door in countless other games? Its not a cutscene and its certanly not a ''press A to win' scenarion, its just a small mechanical part of game progression. Just because it has a detailed animation of a character performing the action doesnt mean the interactivity is taken from you.

How else should a character do something other than when player presses a button? You do know how videogames work, right? You give an input by pressing a button and the character does the action that is assigned to that button.

God Hand has a 'hold triangle to do an uppercut' action, would you also call that game QTE , movie fest?
etc. It’s an endless series of actions and Quick-Time-Events which makes me feel like a spectator.
There is only one QTE-esque mechanic in the game, and that is when Joel has to dogde enemy attack and it fits well into the contex, because you'd need to react fast to dogde a plank hit anyway. Its no different when you try to parry in Dark Souls by pressing L2, so its not really QTE anyway.
If you want interactivity, play StarCraft, always on the move, managing, building. Civilization IV, is stupidly indepth. Heroes of Might and Magic can take hours for a single match, full of exploration and customisation. Star Citizen also needs no introduction.
I know there are a lot of deep games on PC, I was just oversimplifying and using bad examples like you did with PS360.
Sins of a Solar empire is another noteworthy mention.
I can endlessly list PC exclusives, where you're actually *part* of the experience and not merely just a spectator along for the ride or staring at menu's like what you sarcastically describe.
I'd say immersion is a big part of the video game experience, and no one does immersion quite like Naughty Dog ^^
That doesn't make The Last of Us a bad game, I just prefer something that makes my axons to secrete neurotransmitters more often.
Than maybe survival games aren't really for you
