Forums - Gaming - Tired of mainstream games? PLAY THIS NOW - April edition part 2/4

I'm going to be recommending games that sometimes go under the radar. These games are most likely going to be limited to the 7th generation of gaming (PC, 360, Ps3, Wii, Psp, Ds)

I will be making weekly additions to this thread, so each month will have 4 (four, quatro) total games for you to play each month.

If you have already played these games, sorry. All games will be easily attainable at cheap prices pretty much anywhere.

YOUR JOB: you must play said game and basically post details about your personal experience while playing it. What emotions went through your head? Did you enjoy the story? What could have been better? Ect. Feel free to tag your post to come back to it when you are complete with the game.

April

  1. Prince of Persia
  2. Enslaved: Oddysey to the West
  3. Coming Soon
  4. Coming Soon
UPDATE 1: Just so you guys understand the point of this thread. I made this so people can play often forgotten games or games that go under the radar. Obviously the game does not apply to you if you have already played it. If you have and didn't like it, ok that's fine. Not everybody will agree on whether the game is good or not. I personally loved 2008's Prince of Persia for it's unique art style and non-linear approach.

I played this game way back when. I remember hating the combat... A lot! Story wasnt that good either... But it did look pretty....

Not for everyone but it's a great game for most.

Actually I'm tired of indies right now I'm so happy to have been playing Infamous the last couple weeks.

Get Your Portable ID!Lord of Ratchet and Clank

Duke of Playstation Plus

Warden of Platformers

I played that Prince of Persia for 360 a long time back. After playing for about 2 hours I quit. The gameplay was just crap imo, neither did I care for the story.

This is especially sad since I was a big fan of Warrior Within and Two Thrones. So my expectations for a then next gen PoP was very high and I was thoroughly disappointed. Gladly Assasins Creed filled that void somewhat.

You called PC 7th gen. PC Fans attack!!!!

I have a love/hate relationship with the PoP series...Loved the first one. Literally one of my fav games of all time. Tried the second one (Warrior Within?), and hated the crap out of it so I stopped playing. This PoP reboot you mention in the OP, it was decent...I hated the combat and the fact that you never died. The boss battles were stupid/repetitive. In the end I never did get to finish the game.

I just want them to go back and make a PoP game like Sands of Time...Really Ubisoft idk what they are doing with this IP. If you're not going to make anything then just give it to someone else.

Tired of casting shows? Watch American Idol.
Tired of fast food? Eat at Burger King.
Tired of stupid threads? Read toastboy's newest creation.

Damn... you're on a roll today.

Didn't like it. Too many pitfalls.

Thought the same thing.  The game was garbage to me, if you want to play a Prince of Persia game play The Forgotten Sands.

Bump for game 2 of April: Enslaved.

And just so you guys understand the point of this thread, read the updated OP.
