The "minimum" years old Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400 is up with the PS4/XOne netbook 8-cores..

The "recommended" i7 is eating them all for lunch.

about the DX11 stuff here. Take some money into your hands and buy a Maxwell Nvidia. In the long run it even might save you some bucks on power consumption...

Instead of looking at the CPU requirements why don't take a look the GPU side ... Last gen consoles don't even come close to a GTX 460 or an HD 5770 and this includes the WII U!

What about being poor, is that a valid excuse? I still have a 9800gt and I'm poor xD According to Steam metrics 30% still don't have DirectX 11 cards, so I guess I'm not alone.

Being poor is a bad thing. No question. No excuse needed.

But paying 40-50 bucks on a game while complaining about not having about 90-150 bucks for a shiny new Nvidia GTX 750  - doesn't make that much sense to me.

So your best bet is: WAIT a year. At this point you'll pay a fraction for the game and the GPUs got cheaper too. If you'll buy second hand then you might be lucky to pay for both not much more than the new game alone at release date...

I can understand that people might be tempted to "save" a few bucks this way - but it is plain wrong. even more on the PC side where you get used or a years old game at price points the console guys can only dream of...

Yea but if your poor, it doesn't matter since you can't afford to spend $60 or $150 unless its on essentails so... Its still bad to pirate but yea... I think u know my point

It's not exactly badly optimized ... An X1 is exactly like those minimum specs and the PS4 is almost like the recommended specs.
