I havent really liked any of the wild arms games after 2. 3 was ok, but i hated everything after. Still I am open to them trying again. Although I would rather see a new suikoden game, but thats konami...

Wild Arms 5 was god-tier if you ignored the story.

The soundtrack was amazing and and had some of the best variety in a game I've played. Great battle system and world too. Also loved the puzzle boxes.

Really hope there's a WA6.

SONY should remaster this for Vita.

I've never played a Wild Arms game, but maybe the series could do with a "reboot"? Making it like a Ps4/3/vuta exclusive or something might help it.

This is as niche as JRPGs get ...

Really?

There are many, many, many, many, many, many more niche JRPG series out there.

Breath of Fire/Wild ARMs/Suikoden were on about the same tier as Tales, before Capcom/Sony/Konami decided to kill them.

I thought that tales of had a bigger following than the rest of them ...

I'm always pleased when I see you post about how much you enjoyed Wild ARMs 5.  I agree with you that the story was weak (particularly the final act, which didn't feel as climatic as I'd hoped).

But they really nailed the gameplay.  Puzzle solving dungeons were better than ever; Hex battle system was miles better than 4 etc.

Soundtrack wasn't as good as WA1/3, although this one and this one stood out a lot to me.

You don't have to apologise for owning such an awesome collection!

Sadly I had to settle for a download version of Wild ARMs 2 from US PSN.  Was worth it to finally get to play the game after all these years, though.

Cooler me interested. Enjoyed what I played of the first game.

I played a bit of 1 and XF and enjoyed 3 all the way. Just have to wait and see what they come up with.
