Sony is still going to do it regardless. They have deveoped or secured casual, non-traditional games with every platform they put out (Singstar, LBP, Invisimals, Hannah Montana PSP bundle, Sports Champions, etc.)

They don't appeal to their normal target, but they want to make sure and appease those who might be interested in those games.

Broadening your appeal is fine as long as you don't burn your core audience. I feel pretty burned.

So why do you feel burned, if a game exists for your system, that you don't like? You aren't forced to play it, the budget for it probably wasn't very high anyways...

But when that system currently only has 21 exclusives and it's been out around two years, the people who have supported the system for those two years or maybe less are going to get pissed off eventually when barely anything releases that they're interested in.

Yeah.  I have no interest in this game, but it's not like there's much else I can be interested in.

Maybe if the Vita was getting tons of big games I would agree. When the software choice for the Vita is so limited already, it is disappointing to see Sony spend any amount of money on shit like this. I hope whoever greenlit this gets fired.

You've bolded both comments so not much to point out.  21 exclusives that as a gamer I'm not going to have interest in all of them, and the fact that many of them are crap doesn't help.  And again, it took over two years to receive those exclusives.  You know what I was playing on my Vita while waiting for another game?  Not a damn thing because it was sitting there gathering dust an average of 11 months out of the year.

I'm saying there's more than 21 exclusives and there seem to be several that fall into your tastes as I believe you like RPGs.

If it's on PS3 or PC it's not exclusive.  Also I don't count digital, but most digital games are bad.  The Atelier games are okay, but again, already on PS3.

Wat. Some of my favorite are digital only.

I wasn't thinking of the Atelier games, but they are most certainly different from their PS3 counterparts. What do you consider them? Remakes, enhanced ports?

They're certainly not remakes, and the enhanced ports bit is a bit much.Graphically they're the same and the marginal amount of extra content, the small dungeon with some bosses, it's barely enhanced.  They include all the DLC, but you're paying digital.  I might as well download all the DLC on my PS3 if I'm going to brag about that.

yay!

NOT.

Eh, whether it's mariginal or not is subjective, but Totori had some nice improvements and it had the least done to it.
