Forums - Microsoft - Tales of Vesperia confirmed for 360 and US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It should be a decent RPG. It's not really the type of JRPG I go for, but I will try it out.

What a waste of money haha. PS3 or Wii or PSP or DS would have been a much better choice. Oh well Namco.

But that's the financial side.  As a 360 owner, good news for a very limited library.

Anyone who thinks this won't come to the PS3 eventually is sadly mistaken. Namco has a track record of doing this, MS has set up some kind of deal with them, and their 360 games haven't sold well enough to merit this exclusivity (see Eternal Sonata and Ace Combat 6).

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

Yet Another Quality JRPG coming to the Xbox 360, Looks Better than ToS:KoR

ToS: KoR will outsell this, though.

which is a shame

If you appreciated ToS you wouldn't call it a "shame." Not to mention Japan-centric games will sell more on the Wii than the 360. And the Symphonia name is popular unlike Vesperia which isn't "proven" yet.

This will still be EXCELLENT, though. MAYBE better than ToS: KoR.

I appreciate ToS, i like it, though i dont worship it as you do. Obviously the Symphonia name is popular, hence a sequel is coming out

you should learn to read i never said the 360 version will sell better. So stop beating a dead horse. and yes its a shame how a more expensive game to develop will sell less.

Of course this game is coming to the PS3,. We know this game is going to flop in japan and at best sell medicore in america and europe. The dude says yes, how much more evidence does one need?

Can you see Vesperia getting ported to PS3 some time in the future, like Eternal Sonata?
YH: Yes, I won't deny the possibility. But we're not thinking about it yet-there are so many other things to concentrate on first.

On a side note what the hell is sony doing? I mean seriously, thier from japan and yet the 360 is getting more japanese oriented rpgs than they are.

gebx - not quite. ToV *might* go PS3 eventually. Might is the keyword. We haven't even got a confirmation ES was coming PS3-side.

Eternal Sonata is coming to the ps3, with extra content.  It was announced just days after the game was released in NA.

Think, well judging by numerous posts I've read over the time being here, I'd consider my self the voice of reason.

Personally I think the 360 has a limited library.  I think it lacks big games in all major genres, and its good to see a big well known series enter the JRPG sector for it.  If ya don't like my opinion then disagree kindly and back off.  Trust me you don't want to get into an arguement with me, cause I can guarantee you, you'll lose.

But further more, I think the Wii has a limited lineup as well, so don't throw any Troll or bias card at me.  Once ya get to know me, you'd probably agree that I'm one of the most reasonable people here.  Don't go after the smart ones, take on the idiotic.

Don't worry about him, dude. People like him are wishing they had an RPG to play instead of actually playing one. Just keep having fun with Lost Odyssey, and let the Nintendo trolls do what they want.

So, it`s not 100% x360 game only, then ok. =)
Soon or later it will come to ps3. =]
