Note this is not an April fools thread.

Anyone know why the value of the game plummeted? I got a mint black label version for $35 and I see other copies going for even cheaper. What happened, the game used to be around $100+ for a mint copy.

Just looked and it seems like almost all the PS1 FF games are cheaper now online.

Since I've had my retro game store (3 years), I've never seen a copy of FFVII go for more than $70 Canadian. That's for a mint as hell black label copy.

Some of those good looking ones are still up around $40 +$15 shipping. It is dropping for sure. It never should have been more than $40 to begin with in my opinion. I am guilty of selling them for $45-70 range though.
