I hope never.
More companies should be making mobile games. There are millions of smartphone owners that are wanting to play Pokemon on their devices.

Your posts always confuse me. Are mobile games good or are they destroying the industry?
There are also a ton of franchises that have remained successful on consoles, despite also being available on mobile.

Mobile games are shifting the industry which is good, making it more accesible to consumers in device (no need for a (handheld)console) and price. (much much cheaper) the problem that I see now is price.. its too cheap.. it already correcting itself with premium games trying to sell themself for 2.99 to 9.99..
Ports or versions of console games are good for third party developers.. They can earn money to create more games..
the problem I see with this game is that it is a first party game build too close to the quality of the psp/vita version of the game.. first party is created to tempt people to buy and commit to your system... It's not creating interest to buy a vita or the game.. it's a replacement..

Thats like saying why would you ever buy a fifa game when its free on mobile?
The answer is that the mobile versions are shit.
| Ka-pi96 said: Oh Sony, what ever next. They could have at least made it exclusive to Sony phones but no couldn't even do that. |
why on earth would they do that? this game will push zero smartphones. but they can make money from this game on other non-sony smartphones.

Go compare the sales of the PSP and DS versions to the 3DS and Vita versions.. the qualtiy of Fifa on iOS just as good as those handheld versions affecting the sales..If the quality is too close it will effect sales.. the handheld version of Fifa are pretty worthless right now.. but EA doesn't mind cause its earning it money with the mobile version..

im surprised its earning money. It didnt last on my phone for longer than 10 minutes.

I suggested something like this quite a while ago. Sony should forget dedicated handhelds and make something that looks like a PSV with the screen removed for attachment to several varieties of phones.
