I made a big deal about this in another thread: just using the raw numbers from "more countries" makes it seem like the PS4 is availble for so many more people. But, for example, Costa Rica (a country the PS4 is in and XBone isn't) is smaller, in population than Massachusetts. But people are just saying "more countries" to downplay PS4's sales, as if a country like Costa Rica is on par with the US or UK. 

I agree but I just wanted to give the argument a different perspective.

I wonder if X1 ever releases in all regions PS4 has.

They shouldn't release in all of them so that they can keep their consoles per country ratio to spin.

Another interesting question would be, will the PS4 get to the 10 million mark by then? For that it would need to sell 3.45mil until september 1st, the Wii easily beat that, but the Wii had a higher weekly baseline in 2007, especially thanks to much better japanese sales than the PS4 is looking to be getting.

I thought about just having the lower numbers but then that wouldn't be taking into consideration that the XB1 might still not be selling in as many countries by then. My own personal view is around 5 - 6 million (given complete parity).

Well it certainly will go a ways to outsell WiiU ;P. A extra 10-20k per week aint bad at all.
