You arent getting it, they said it had at least 850k retail pre-orders. Which was completely wrong. 

You are the one not getting it and everyone else.  In that article they discuss FULL WEEK meaning it sold 695000 in 2 Days!  They added the next 5 days GENUISES and it will easily reach the amoun they said in 7 days if it got 695000 in 2.  READING IS FUNDAMENTAL.

MGS GZ and Infamous beastinzzzz .. With digital Infamous SS had a shot at 800-900k for the first 2 days lol. Now we wait for official announcement (maybe) or NPD. Finally Infamous is pulling big numbers

That only counts 2 days of sales. Titanfall sold 905,000 in 4 with over 30% free. And X1 fanboys are happy.  I for one am I VERY ANGRY first day X1 and PS4 purchaser who had to pay fullprice for Titanfall.  I'm still waiting on Microsoft to compensate.

Free copies of TF were digital, so they are not tracked by VGchartz.

Maybe you souldnt link an article youre not talking about.  Obviously in this string of threads you linked the 1 million sold, 7 million PS4 article.  Do you read before you type?

Insiderp also said that the game had 190k digital preorders but only 150k digital sales in its first week. So yeah, reading is fundamental, right?


You all are not sitting here arguing what VGCHARTZ says justifys another source being wrong? When VC is wrong EVERY NPD? Okay yea right.

Two different estimates... you need to see how much preorder VGC had.

They are... any digital voucher bundled with console is counted here (Forza, Halo, etc).

VGC can't track real digital sales but if there are something physical linked to it... like a bundle then they can track... they estimates how many TF bundles sold and add that to the TF sales.

Pre-orders =/= actual sales though. That's the issue with your argument. I'd say they're pretty close. Going by VGC, they did 695k week one. If they did 15% of that in digital sales (honestly, I'd think it be higher but let's use that), that makes 800k. VGC isn't the end all be all, so I'd say inside derp were pretty damn close, no (that does not, of course, mean they're legit)? We'll get a better picture of it once we have actual numbers.
