We already know this for some years that Sony has trouble getting out the red numbers. At their last quarter results they warned us for 5.000 lay-offs. Which division shouldn't be touched at all or at least a part. 

Divisions: 

- Imaging Products and Solutions
- Game
- Mobile products & communication
- Home entertainment & sound
- Pictures
- Music
- Financial services

As a gamer, the whole Game/Playstation brand shouldn't be touched. Sadly it's necesarry, but Sony don't you dare putting lay-offs on Naughty Dog!

It should all be there will be fat in all areas, all divisions need to be made profitable asap, and those that cant be sold off.

I don't think you need to worry about PlayStation to much tho, PS4 is riding massive success at the moment their not going to jeopardise that.

I want them to keep playstation, TVs (i love them sony TVs) and sound equipment, and cameras. all services relating to these stay all the rest can go to hell for all i care. sell the mobile department hopefully, they release way too many different models.

I trust in Kaz making the right decisions. Thankfully, it's not my problem to deal with.

I think this is to be expected. Sony is doing horribly, so they need these drastic measures. Also it has to be financial services; it is the most profitable part of Sony.

financial services shouldn't be touched its the only one that has consistently made them money. If you cut the fat from that div it may change the culture of it and it may not perform as well. so leave it.

Sony has been great for having third party developed Jrpgs on their consoles  in the last few years. I hope it stays that way.

But maybe parts of their game as well since someone was stupid enough to fund that borderlands 2 port for the vita and not something better and more recent

SCEJ was a mess before Allan Becker took control. They had over 40 games in development. Allan Becker "rebooted" SCEJ and make them focus on a handful games.

I think they should touch all of them except Financial services. That is the only consistently profitable division.
