Very little people go to these events compared to the overall gaming population.

Those that watch E3 on tv or online are probably hardcore enough about gaming that they will watch any stream (E3 or direct).

All the press hype and big games for general public is showed at E3... even general TV channels shows E3 highlights... newspapers had pages exclusives for E3 stuffs... it is the big marketing for every consumer (hardcore or casual).

I'm sure to say with a good E3 plan last year Nintendo could sell better... not sell a lot to be saved but better than what they sold until now.

Wii monster success started at E3... year after year.

PS. I will say something that a lot of guys will disagree but Nintendo Direct is pointless in my opinion.

The video below got me thinking, "Has Nintendo confirmed if they are returning to E3." I feel like the Direct wasn't the best idea last year and I feel it will be an even bigger one this year if they decide to skip the conventional presentation. A new Zelda deserves more than a Direct to be shown. Do you think they'll announce their decision in April? Thoughts?

Can you link to the video? This is the thing I don't like about the Wii U...

Well you can't watch it like that on the Wii U. And Shokio? Does everyone here watch him?

What the heck would they show in their conference? Trailers for games we have already seen but have no idea when they would be releasing?

I am sure someone will let me know when a new Zelda is ready for release. Until then, not much reason to care.

Always interested to see if they'll be there, and moreso WHAT they will release. I think it was when Twilight Princess was announced, at GDC, I was in attendance, the crowd went INSANE!
