What is your jumping the shark moment in a game series??

For me it's mass effect 2, the end boss. It was the giant terminator. I didn't get it. It was just too silly.

I never played mass effect 3. Because of this. Not even because of the ending of 3.

The reapers were a great enemy for me, especially in 1, very dark and unknown.

Then at the end of 2 you see this giant robot thing. By by illusion of a great villain.

For me it was the moment with the zombie wife in Gears of War 2 (?), as a moment it was just so ridiculous, and played so straight it killed the series for me.

I never really "Jumped ship" on  a game series, but I stopped playing Resident Evil 4 when I got stuck on a boss.

Aww, thats a shame.

Resident Evil 4 is incredibly rewarding and great, do you remember which boss it was ?

The one where that really short dude became some monster.

....well, Salazar is a cakewalk when you have the Sniper rifle...You should give it a second try ! :P

Or you can one shot him with the rocket launcher.

God, I love this game so much .

So much awesome content, incredible athmosphere, great pointer controls....

Well, I know what I´ll play next :P
